Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce to Host Informational Meeting for November China Trip

April 11th, 2011 · Leave a Comment

The Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a week-long trip to China in November.  The cost-effective tour is open to anyone interested in exploring the country.  The Chamber invites all who are interested to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday to learn more about the trip.

The informational meeting about the China trip is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Jacksonville Marriott Southpoint, located at 4670 Salisbury Road.  The meeting is open to the public and will provide additional information about the trip and address the most frequently asked questions.  Participants will also have the opportunity to ask their own questions.

Planned from Nov. 5 to 13, the Chamber’s China trip includes opportunities to tour the highlights of Beijing, the Great Wall, Shanghai and Suzhou.  Participants will also visit the economic development zones in Pudong, a financial and commercial hub, and Hangzhou, a major city with a growing technology sector.  The tours are led by experienced guides and will include some free time to explore, shop and experience China.

The trip is an opportunity to visit China at a significant discount.  Each traveler receives round-trip international airfare from JFK International Airport, luxurious 4- and 5-star hotel accommodations, three meals each day, deluxe bus tours, fluent English-speaking tour guides and entrance fees for attractions.  The cost, which does not include transportation to JFK International Airport, costs $2,199 per person.  Chamber members receive a $100 discount.  Space is limited.

For more information about the Chamber’s China trip, contact Kelly Pourciau at (904) 366-6646 or visit www.OpportunityJacksonville.com.
