England-Thims & Miller Taps Renowned Expert Billy Hattaway for Tampa Bay Expansion

England-Thims & Miller, Inc. (ETM), a privately owned and Florida-headquartered infrastructure and development consulting firm, has hired Billy Hattaway to expand the company’s services in the Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida regions. Hattaway’s role is the Senior Advisor of the Traffic and Transportation Department.

Hattaway, PE, RSP1, brings over 45 years of professional transportation planning and engineering experience to ETM. His extensive career includes 28 years with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), where as District One Secretary he led the development and implementation of the Department’s Complete Streets policy and numerous pedestrian and bicycle safety initiatives. Hattaway also served as the Transportation Director for the City of Orlando and has held key leadership roles in the consulting industry.

ETM is involved in various infrastructure and development projects throughout North and Central Florida. Their extensive portfolio encompasses Master Planned Communities, roadways, healthcare facilities, industrial parks, residential and commercial developments, water and utilities, parks and recreation, and sports and hospitality venues.

Recent projects include the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Stadium of the Future, the award-winning Nocatee community, SR 9B, Wild Light, Deering Park, and the Graham Swamp Trail & Pedestrian Bridge.
